Flat Megan went to work with Jennifer this week. She works at Bing Nursery School on Stanford campus. Here she is with a couple of Jenn’s coworkers and also in front of Hoover Tower.
I brought Jenn a ymmy Cafe Rio-styled lunch that I made last night. The tower house is a historic building that now serves as a very well equipped teachers’ lounge for Bing Nursery School teachers.
Jenn has been working for Bing Nursery School, a renown school associated with the psychology department of Stanford University. Tonight they had a potluck for parents and children. Bing has a unique play-based learning approach. The rooms are very open and even flow directly outside. Instead of classrooms, Bing has play areas.
Work has started for Jenn, but not for me yet. Instead, I have been driving up for lunch every day. I don’t know how often I’ll be able to do this in the foreseeable future.
