Portland’s Japanese Garden sits atop the hill to the west of downtown Portland. This is perhaps one of the more picturesesque spots in Portland with moss-covered paths that wind their way through waterfalls and stoney trails.

Nestled in downtown Portland is a square block Chinese garden. Most all of the stone and plants were transported from China. The gardens replicate a scholars house emphasiIng the connection with nature.

The buildings in downtown Portland are beautiful! When a population is also environmentally conscious, it makes a big difference as per the cleanliness of a city.
