Ethan’s Farewell
It’s really nice to see everyone. An early flight has made things a bit hard.
Dinner Outside
The weather is getting warm, perfect for patio dinners in the evening.
Anniversary
We had an anniversary dinner at Dish Dash and topped off the evening with Creme Brulee from a bakery on Castro. Delicious! We ate the Creme Brulee before we could get a picture of it. Sorry blog.
Baklava
We’ve always thought that Baklava was a recipe reserved only for master chefs, but Jenn found a great recipe that was not only quite simple, but incredibly yummy.
Home Seafood
Jenn is still making some of the most amazing meals. Here is one of her favorite’s coconut shrimp. The whole fish was stuffed with couscous and baked in our oven.
No Knew Books
Two more delicious meal creations. Jenn has been getting cookebooks at a secondhand bookstore, No Knew Books. When she has been empowered with new material, she brings it home and we get to cook it!
Spanakopita
I’ve never owned so much spinach in my life. We had about 5lbs of spinach in our refrigerator for spanakopita and Indian currey.
Sunday Dinner
We invited Ben and Ying over for dinner. I haven’t seen Ben since the wedding last June–so it was a lot of fun to have him over. Jenn and I made a multicourse dinner with mushroom soup, roast chicken, and apple tart dessert.
