Cuesta Park had a free movie night. They put up a large, inflatable screen and presented Despicable Me.
On Saturday we thought it would be fun to do some barbecuing at the local park so we got some marinated meat and grilled it.
We went to the ultrasound today and the baby boy is measuring at 27cm head to toe and 13oz. I guess that’s pretty big for 21 weeks or so I am told.
Jenn has a new toy that makes delicious steamed milk and hot chocolates. Here is a salted caramel hot chocolate made with Maldon smoked sea salt.
One of my lovely colleagues, Stephanie, gave me a very thoughtful little present. It was a wonderful opportunity to make a custom thank you card.
One of my colleagues and her husband have decided to host an amazing supper club in their restored antique barn. The food was delicious and quite beautiful. It was a very filling six-course meal.
Most of the food came locally–some even grown on site. Here Stephanie is showing guests her snail pen for escargo.
Back to the college dating grounds, we went to downtown Palo Alto and had dinner at Pizza My Heart. Dessert was a stop at the Penninsula Grill, a diner with upscaled food.
