Of the unique things to see in Portland are Powell’s Bookstore, a family-owned, multi-story bookstore that you can get lost in and Pittock mansion, a beautiful house atop the hill overlooking the city.  

I am always reminded to be generous whenever we visit Bob’s Red Mill.  There is always something of generosity showed by the staff or re-reading stories about Bob himself that line the walls that gives me pause for thought.
