Date Night tonight started with a new Thai restaurant called Shana. We had the most delicious crab rangoon with honey mustard that we have ever had. The sauce was amazing! I’ve heard that the visual appeal of food does more for taste than anything.
With all of the different strains of things going around I thought it would be a good idea to get the seasonal flu shot. It wasn’t the H1N1, but maybe it will prevent me from catching something else.
Jenn and I were in charge of the dry ice fog at the Halloweeen Party and chili cookoff. The final product involved two large cauldrons which bubble bubbled as we toiled to keep little childrens’ troubled hands from reaching into the concoction.
People seemed to be raving about La Fiesta on yelp. There was an especial dish we tried, but it wasn’t up to the level claimed–maybe it’s because both of us have had really good Mexican food.
