We’ve been doing Whole Foods as our main grocery stay. They generally have very good selections unless you are looking for batteries.

We can take the Prius down to LA on one tank of gas. You can tell that we drive it extensively as we topped the 20,000 mile mark this trip.

The front street of Disneyland is lined with old shops selling every permutation of Mickey Mouse conceivable. We found one building that housed pictures of Disneyland on its opening day in 1955.

We were able to have brunch with Jenn’s parents, a treat we don’t often get to enjoy. Jenn’s father was doing quite well. He asked me if Jenn and I appreciated each other. I said we very much did. I could see that he was deeply touched.

National Association for Educators of Young Children (NAEYC) was a three day event held in Anaheim. It covers everything from teaching methods to teaching tools to foster the growth of small children. Jenn was invited to go by Bing nursery school.

The happiest place on earth, Disneyland, provided the perfect location to spend with family.

Jenn has childhood memories of stopping to get fried chicken. The Knotts founded Knott’s Berry Farm theme park in the 1949. It was one of the oldest theme parks in America.

Jenn was having not so good of a day. Luckily there were puppy terriers.
