Clear Gas Pump
This is a gas pump near our house. They decide to put clear plastic covers on the gas selection buttons. I know this is just as secure as anything else–something in my mind was a bit disturbed to be able to look inside and see the microcontroller powering up the LED display.
Radioactive Payload
I was going home from work and saw this truck. I wouldn’t have given it another look except for the radioactive warning on the back and oil drum-sized payload. When I worked at Sandia, trucks like this would move fissile materials around. Of course on campus, they were always accompanies by MPs.
Jewelry Show
Jenn got together with two other teachers at Bing. They had a craft show showcasing handmade products of their own designs. Jenn spent the last two weeks, preparing earrings and other designs in preparation. The show was fairly well attended.

Santana Row Lights
Santana Row is beautiful this time of year. They even have blooming plants specially picked to survive the chilly winter. Jenn recently had her extra teeth surgically removed, so it is nice to be able to get out a little bit and walk around outside. It helps that Jenn enjoys looking around here.
Lab Bikes
These bikes were put together for charity at work during our Christmas party. There were more little bikes than this. To store them, we utilized lab space next to the optical tables. Perhaps we could start using them on Intel campus the same way Google has bicycles for their campus.

We haven’t been home since Christmas time last year.
