BJ, Jenn, Jack, and Benjamin
I’m not sure how many times we have walked by this diner in Palo Alto. It seems to have a host of different names from Peninsula Grill to Palo Alto Creamery. Usually I don’t go for burger and malt shops, but this one was quite good!
The lower part is the head. It’s as big if not bigger than the body! You can’t really see the arms and legs but we got to see them in a different view. The heart rate was 178. BJ says, “Well, I guess we’re moving forward. ” Yay!
Mel’s diner was the film site of George Lucas’ American Graffitti. It’s also the location to get a kid’s burger served in a box shaped like a car.
In little over week Jenn found a new two bedroom apartment and this past weekend we moved into a new unit with two bedrooms. The extra space will be nice, and perhaps it’s better to have the move already done when we need it.
Makeshift office supply clovers make the holiday for me. Winning AMC movie tickets helps as well.
Now I know where to get my emu eggs: Whole Foods.
One nice thing about our location near Sunnyvale is the delicious ethnic food in close proximity. A drive down the street bring us to India. India Cash and Carry, an Indian grocery store, carries every spice and fruit you could ever need or pickup fresh samosas.
Jenn found this wonderful lotus-carved piece at the local consignment store. It stows away all of Jenn’s crafting machinery.
Our apartment complex likes to go a bit beyond the normal when it comes to showing off units.
