Our neighborhood sponsored a yard sale. We were able to sell many of the things that were taking up space in the garage. It’s always an interesting experiment in psychology to hold these types of events. Invariably there are a few categorical sellers: sniper buyers looking for specific deals such as furniture, the low-ballers who scoff at $1 price tags, the kid shoppers looking to clothe their kindred, and everyone else who is your normal person out to see what is available.
