The T-Rex skull was found on a ranch in Texas. A near complete skeletal remain was unearthed and is now standing erect at the OMSI. After the dinosaur was uncovered, they built a special rigging to display it. The entire piece was moved to Las Vegas where it went up for auction at the Venetian. It was purchased by a private buyer for several million dollars. After sitting in storage, it found it’s way to OMSI.
