Our favorite little Persian place is on the opposite end of Castro street in Mountain View. It’s a supermarket with a grill around back. It takes some experience to order a meal. The rice, for instance, must be picked up at the side deli and brought to the front counter. All the grilled items are ordered when you ring up at the counter. They announce your order over a phone PA and hand you a slip of yellow paper. It’s a bit puzzling where to pick up grill orders but around the corner in the parking lot is an open window. Hiding inside is a full grill and kitchen with several hot and underpaid grill workers. Once you get the system down, the food is unrestrained deliciousness!
