They don’t make hotels like the Madonna Inn anymore. It’s a cross between a resort and Disneyland anchored a little more than midway between San Francisco and Los Angelos. Each of the hundred some odd rooms is uniquely decorated combining local rocks and artisanship with ecclectic furnishings. We stayed in a room that had a rock waterfall shower.
