Every year San Mateo Fairgrounds host the Gem and Jewelry show. What better local event to go to for a young jewelry-entrepreneur than an entire expo center filled with precious stones, sterling silver chains, and every type of bead known to man. While I was waiting an older woman sat down with me. She had been trying to call her husband at home who had apparently left the phone off the hook. I ended up giving her a ride home which she was most pleased to receive.
