The original plan was to head into downtown San Jose for the Jazz festival. We made it up to the gates of the park downtown and stopped in at a fifties-style diner. Of course there is nothing better to get than a chocolate shake at a vintage diner entitled Johnny Rockets. Every Friday night is Date Night and provides a good excuse to get out into local happenings. The rules are simple: we must go out and we must both enjoy the activity. Simple and fun.
