The yearly crèche exhibit is in full swing at the Palo Alto building. Each year tiny nativites take over an entire church building as it opens its doors the community during the holiday season. You can’t take video or pictures inside, but the amount of effort to transmute a cement and carpet-walled building from the sixties is astounding. The ward used downed pine branches to cover basketball hoops and starry wallpaper to line the walls of one particular room with miniature nativites. Events like this remind me never to stand in the way of Releif Sicieties when there is something they want to do.
