I was going home from work and saw this truck. I wouldn’t have given it another look except for the radioactive warning on the back and oil drum-sized payload. When I worked at Sandia, trucks like this would move fissile materials around. Of course on campus, they were always accompanies by MPs.

Jenn got together with two other teachers at Bing. They had a craft show showcasing handmade products of their own designs. Jenn spent the last two weeks, preparing earrings and other designs in preparation. The show was fairly well attended.

The yearly crèche exhibit is in full swing at the Palo Alto building. Each year tiny nativites take over an entire church building as it opens its doors the community during the holiday season. Santana Row is beautiful this time of year. They even have blooming plants specially picked to survive the chilly winter. Jenn recently had her extra teeth surgically removed, so it is nice to be able to get out a little bit and walk around outside. It helps that Jenn enjoys looking around here.

These bikes were put together for charity at work during our Christmas party. There were more little bikes than this. To store them, we utilized lab space next to the optical tables. Perhaps we could start using them on Intel campus the same way Google has bicycles for their campus.

Once a year Bing has their Harvest Moon auction. The theme for this year was ‘Come Take A Magic Carpet Ride.’. It’s not often that we get delicious catered food. We’ve been doing Whole Foods as our main grocery stay. They generally have very good selections unless you are looking for batteries.

Jenn has childhood memories of stopping to get fried chicken. The Knotts founded Knott’s Berry Farm theme park in the 1949. It was one of the oldest theme parks in America.

Jenn was having not so good of a day. Luckily there were puppy terriers.
