Atop the hill that separates Portland proper and western suburbia resides several wonderful Portland attractions. We had to take Jack to the zoo. He loved the fish an penguins which swam right next to the stroller. Some of the fish were bigger than him!

Forest Grove McMenamin’s was built inside of the historic Grand Lodge in Forest Grove. They have several venues on site including two outdoor restaurants, a pub, and a grill.

Driving around the beautiful Oregon highways are multiple scenic stops and lookouts. This one, just outside of Portland had a view of the river and Willamette Falls. There are so many historic sites from Lewis and Clark’s expeditious expedition to this one, the veritable end of the Oregon trail.

Daniel was released from this calling as Elder’s Quorum president. As a final thank you, we were all invites to their place for dinner.
