An evening in Sacramento, the state capital, where we sought out interesting dining. We ate at the Tower Cafe in downtown which I can only describe as an eclectic mix of decor and food.
With President’s Day–a while day to ourselves–we decided to explore UC Davis and Sacramento. UC Davis has a Redwood Grove of which they are very proud.
The evening in San Francisco was spent at Baker Beach, ocean-side in the Presidio. Gorgeous views of the sunset and Golden Gate all within Miriam’s backyard. Jack absolutely loved the sand.
I enjoy capturing the moment of capturing the moment.
We have a lot of special memories at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. It was originally built for the world’s fair shortly after the 1906 earthquake. We had lunch in the park in rather uncommonly good weather with Aunt Miriam and Mama Jean.
Shortly after this Jack started crying. It was clearly time for a nap and he did not like the alternate reality that is chipmunk face.
