Usually Saturday is focused on getting groceries an errands done. Today we had to use the beautiful daylight. Cuesta is a beautiful park near our house begging for us to go on a picnic. We did lamb-beef sliders.

I’ve never owned so much spinach in my life. We had about 5lbs of spinach in our refrigerator for spanakopita and Indian currey.
We invited Ben and Ying over for dinner. I haven’t seen Ben since the wedding last June–so it was a lot of fun to have him over. Jenn and I made a multicourse dinner with mushroom soup, roast chicken, and apple tart dessert.
We cleaned out all of our food from the refrigerator. The last bit of food we were able to produce came in the form of this omelet. It’s definitely time to head to the grocery store.
I should have gotten a better picture, but on Friday I went over to a local elementary school to be a science fair judge. The event was organized through Intel. While up in San Francisco, Megan went shopping in one of the largest Forever 21 stores (it has a beautiful ceiling) and got to see the world-famous San Francisco Trolley.
Throughout the past week, Megan has cooked and eaten a variety of dishes: pasta, soup, sushi, spring rolls, chocolate-dipped-strawberries…just to name a few.
Megan ventured up to Macworld in San Francisco.
