Pleasanton
We traveled over to Pleasanton for a friend’s wedding. The downtown area is quite quaint–complete with city singage over their main street. The picture I took was of their Veterans’ Center.

Intel had an “Investor’s Meeting” in my building today. They took over some unusual locations in some unusual ways. The first pictue is the local cafeteria divers in half using cubicle dividers. Cubicle dividers! It’s bad enough to corral our engineers into claustrophobic, monochromatic boxes, but do we have to inflict the same treatment on … Continue reading Intel Investor Meeting

Jenn has been a little sick. It hit pretty hard and fast with flu-like symptoms. Jenn was not too happy for a couple of days. Her mom made her some special Chinese medicine soup.

I’ve crossed a fashion barrier that few can tresspass unchanged. Yes, those are my white socks–but even more of interest are the two seperate pairs of shoes I donned this morning. I’d like to say that there was some motivation like I was trying on two different pairs to see which was the better. But … Continue reading Two Shoes

We grilled up dinner and then walked through the park to take pictures and gather backround material for different iPhone Apps we are scoping out. On Friday Jenn and I walked the dish. … Continue reading Cuesta Park
Solvang provided for some solace as Jenn and I left LA. Her dad would love to take the family to Solvang. The area was founde by Dutch immigrants who brought their customs of architecture and food. Ableskivers are a particular dessert which is akin to having a spherical pancake topped with jam and powdered sugar.
