Every year Stanford’s LDS community has a convocation and invites a well known speaker. This year’s speaker was Steven C. Wheelright, President of BYU Hawaii and former Stanford MBA and PhD graduate. His advisor was Henry Eyring while attending Stanford. He spoke about the relationship of the Holy Ghost in academic studies as well as leading him through events if his life–making more of himself than he could by his own efforts. It was nice to see the Stanford wards and alums in attendance.
